Our Flu and Covid clinics will start from the beginning of October 2024 as the recommendation is to vaccinate from October to allow for greater protection through the winter months.
Eligibility criteria is as below. If you are not in one of these categories, you may visit a pharmacy and pay to have a vaccination. Booking for the clinics will open soon and we will contact you either via SMS, email or phone to book an appointment. If you are housebound, please advise the surgery and we will come and visit you at home.
Flu Vaccination Eligibility:
- Patients aged 65 or turning 65 before 31st March 2025.
- Adults aged 18 to 64 in a clinically ‘at-risk’ group.
- Children aged 6 months to 17 years with certain long-term health conditions
- Pregnant individuals, carers, and health and social care workers.
- School-aged children (Reception to Year 11) will be vaccinated at school.
Covid Vaccination Eligibility:
- Patients aged 65 or turning 65 before 31st March 2025.
- Patients aged 6 months to 64 in a clinically ‘at-risk’ group.
- Residents in a care home for older adults.
- Pregnant individuals, carers, and health and social care workers.
